These Terms govern your use of the Steel app, published by Terence Beauregard. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms. The French version is the reference version; this English version is provided for convenience.
1. Purpose of the app
Steel is a strength training tracker with an optional menstrual cycle tracking module. The app is not intended for medical use: the information and suggestions it provides (training or cycle) do not replace medical advice and are not a medical device.
2. User account
An account is needed to sync your training data across devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential. You can delete your account at any time (see our account deletion page).
3. Premium plans (Steel Plus)
Some Steel features are reserved for the Steel Plus premium plan, managed through RevenueCat and billed through the App Store or the Google Play Store depending on your platform. Three options are offered:
- Monthly and annual subscriptions: renewed automatically at the end of each period, unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Lifetime purchase: a one-time payment, with no renewal, giving access to the premium features with no time limit.
- Price: the applicable price is the one shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play payment sheet at the time of purchase. It may vary by country.
- Free trial: the monthly and annual subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial, available to people who have never subscribed to Steel Plus with the same App Store or Google Play account. At the end of the trial, the subscription is charged automatically at the stated price, unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial.
- Cancellation: cancel directly from your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account settings — Steel has no technical means to cancel a subscription on your behalf.
- Refunds: refund requests are handled under Apple's and Google's respective policies, not directly by Steel.
4. Limitation of liability
Cycle-related recommendations are provided for information only, based on the data you enter. They are neither a diagnosis, nor medical advice, nor a method of contraception. Steel cannot be held liable for decisions made solely on the basis of the information shown in the app.
5. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Any material change will be notified in the app before it takes effect.
